Another useful reference is the Italian pharmacopoeia (/4), Farmacopea Ufficiale. Very important is Fumi s Repertorio Terapeutico Elenco Generale delle Speciality Medicinah (9). Its text consists of two parts. One, corresponding to the American Red Book of drugs, is a compilation of all drugs, medicinal specialities, etc., that have been marketed in Italy, with their retail prices, sales forms, etc. The other part contains data on the chemical composition, therapeutic indications, and manufacturers of the drugs listed.
