Removing from toolbars

Remove a toolbar by choosing Toolbars from the View menu and unchecking the box for the toolbar, or by dragging the toolbar from the toolbar dock and then pressing the Close box. You can have several toolbars in the Excel window at once. [Pg.318]

The default is strikethrough (a line going through the words(s) you remove). If you select Hidden, the deleted text can be shown or hidden with the Show/Hide button on the Standard toolbar. To prevent the deleted text from appearing on the screen, select the" or symbol. [Pg.152]

Removing seldom-used toolbuttons from a toolbar provides a less cluttered working environment and makes room for other, more useful tools. To delete a toolbutton from a toolbar or to add a built-in toolbutton to a toolbar, follow the procedures in the following boxes. [Pg.319]
