Removal of Unspecific Immunoreactivities

In Western blots and in immunofluorescence, antisera often give unspecific reachons, especially when rabbit sera are used. These unspecifihes may be suppressed by pretreatment with liver powder. [Pg.146]

Add about 50 mg of liver powder to 1 ml of antiserum and shake at RT for 15 min. Then spin at 10 000 x g. The supernatant is ready for preparing working dilutions. [Pg.146]
