Relative rate constants for termination steps

Transition state theory (Section 4.4) gives the rate constant 

Radical recombinations have zero, or small positive or negative activation energies, and so to a first approximation 

Since t kT/h is a constant, then the rate constant for each termination step reflects the magnitude and sign of the entropy of activation.
