Related Complexes Nitrogen Fixation

X-Ray crystallography has shown that the hydrazido-dianion, formed by reduction of a co-ordinated dinitrogenyl group, in [W(N2H2)Cl(diphos)]+, has an essentially linear W—N—N arrangement (W—N = 173, N—N = 137 pm and Z WNN = 173°).
