Recent Advances in Superconductivity

MgB2 does exhibit the isotope effect indicating that it is most likely a normal BCS-t)q3e, although its 40 K transition temperature is about 10° higher that the highest estimated theoretical transition temperature for BCS-coupling. 

JJ formed by depositing a thin stripe of metal on an insulator, coating this stripe with a thin oxide insulating layer, and then adding a second metallic stripe.
