Radiationless decay rate constants measuring

The pseudounlmolecular rate constant k of radiationless decay of O2 In various solvents ("quenching by solvent") Is the value of primary Importance In the determination of other basic kinetic parameters of 02-oxygenatlon reactions. The presently available values of kj and the lifetimes of 02 (t = 1/kj) are listed In Table 2 In order of Increasing lifetimes. Probably the most accurate values are those measured by direct methods A and H.
