Pyridine and Imine Complexes

Representative pyridine, oxazoiine, and imine ligands used in organometailic chemistry and complexes of these ciasses of iigands. 

Much effort has been spent to extract reactivity from dinitrogen after coordination to a transition metal. - However, this ligand has not displayed the reactivity that is characteristic of unsaturated ligands such as carbon monoxide or ethylene. For example, no examples of migratory insertion and few additions of nucleophiles to coordinated Nj have been reported.
