A new group of secostictanes was isolated from Pseudocyphellaria degelii (147). Three triterpenoids, 22a-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-4(23)-en-3-oic acid (521), 22a-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-4(23)-en-3-al (522) and 3-acetoxy-22a-hydroxy-3,4-secostict-4(23)-ene (523), were identified principally from spectroscopic data.
