Provision of the HCS

In laboratories and workplaces where the chemicals are only handled in sealed containers, employers are not required to have written HazCom programs or a chemical inventory. 

They must, however, keep the labeis on the containers that are received, keep the SDSs and make them avaiiabie to employees, and train employees on the hazards of the chemicals in the work environment.
