Prothrombin time female

Kramer et al. (1978a) showed that platelet counts and clotting times were the same in monkeys fed diets containing either soybean or LEAR oils. The prothrombin times, however, were shorter in the monkeys fed the LEAR oils than in the monkeys fed the soybean oil, and in addition it was observed that the female monkeys had shorter prothrombin times than the males. [Pg.467]
