Proposal writing

The primary purpose of reports and articles is to inform the primary purpose of proposals is to persuade. Your goal in proposal writing is not just to inform your audience about a solution to a problem, but to convince your audience to give you funds so that you can solve a problem. 

The most important criteria for all proposal writing are the explicit instructions in the RFP.

As each approach is presented, we use italics to highlight words and phrases that are particularly effective in conveying importance. These words are commonly used in proposal writing, and we encourage you to use them in your own writing as well.
