Prepare 10 g ethylenediamine dihydrochloride (H2en 2HC1) by carefully adding two equivalents of HC1 to ethylenediamine (en, free base) and filtering the white crystalline product. [Pg.114]

To 100 ml ddH20 in a 400 ml beaker, add 25 g potassium oxalate (K2ox). Heat with stirring until dissolved. [Pg.114]

Add 10 g cobalt acetate (Co(CH3COO)2) slowly over 1 -2 min. Record the pH of the solution it should be between 5 and 6.5. The solution will be reddish. [Pg.114]
