Prime Directive of Writing Just Write

The write, cross out, write, cross out mode of writing is the result of 

Freewriting is easy to do, the only physical requirements being a pad of lined paper and a pencil or pen. Thereafter, the process may be defined by a set of six rules  

Do not stop and, insofar as it is possible, do not lift pen from paper until the time expires. 

Do not worry about spelling, grammar, punctuation, or structure. 

Do not fix your mind on a particular topic, although if you remain on one topic that s all right.
