Preparation of halogenated organochlorosilanes

Halogenated organochlorosilanes, especially chlorinated methyl- and phenylchlorosilanes of the common structure [Pg.81]

There are several techniques used to prepare chlorinated organochlorosilanes  [Pg.81]

attachment of hydrogen chloride at the double link of unsaturated silicone compounds  [Pg.81]

catalytic dehydrocondensation of hydridehalogensilanes with halogen derivatives of hydrocarbons, catalysed with Lewis acids  [Pg.81]

the interaction of silicon halogenides with diazomethane, which occurs at -45 —55 °C in a solution of diethyl ether  [Pg.81]

However, in practice halogenated organochlorosilanes are most conveniently prepared by the reaction of direct halogenation, which in the simplicity of its experimental realisation and in its possibilities surpasses all the techniques stated above. [Pg.81]
