Precipitation synthetic high-level

A hydrophilic emulsifier, is a highly effective anti-precipitant for mixed dye baths, a superior leveling agent for acid dyes, and a migrating agent for dispersed dyes. TRYMEEN 6606 is also an intermediate for quaternary ammonium compounds and a versatile antistat for processing synthetic fibers. [Pg.368]

Table 1 shows the results for 2-CP removal from synthetic solutions in MiUi-Q water, with and without centrifugation. Althou the high removals previously described [ 6 ] were not attained at the 100 mg/L level, significant removal occurred. Almost complete removal occurred for the lower concentrations. At the higher concentrations, the solution turned a slight yellow-green color, and a precipitate was observed. Centrifugation did not produce a precipitate at the lowest concentration, thus it was eliminated from the experimental procedure for 2-CP. [Pg.657]
