Poly short-circuit photocurrent

Cell characteristics lUumination 500 W xenon lamp. The ITO/P3MT (poly-3-methyl-thiophene) electrode has open-circuit voltage = 0.44 V, short-circuit photocurrent 0.09 luA. cmT, charge efficiency of the storage cell = 40%. [Pg.617]

A truly novel amperometric sensor, for detection of color, was described by Tada and Yoshino. This was based on poly(3-hexyl-thiophene) and is schematically depicted in Figs. 17-13a.b.It consisted of two photocells having different CP thicknesses, and used the difference in the photocurrent spectrum of the photocells. The color of incident light was detected by measuring the ratio of the short circuit photocurrent of the two photocells. This current/wavelength dispersion is depicted in Fig. 17-13b. [Pg.497]
