The process described herein has a proven track record over some years of reliable and robust commercial manufacturing at a batch size of 100 kg. Its scope is far wider than being restricted only to the current sulfide pyrmetazole, as has been demonstrated in-house in a number of additional examples [24, 25], In fact others have explored this process further on their own substrate sulfides and obtained equally outstanding results [28].
