Plasticizer partition between component polymers

The above results of simulation imply that low molecular substances are distributed uniformly in most systems (different polymers and plasticizers). A potential exception occurs when one polymer of a blend has good affinity to a plasticizer and the other is incompatible. In such a case, the entropic considerations become important.
