Planning of the works

For proper project plaiming, which deals with future activities, it is essential to keep record of the progress of the works since change of production rates or scope of the Works will affect the planning. [Pg.115]

The aim of planning can vary from one situation and work phase to the other. The most important arguments for using a planning are  [Pg.115]

To be able to fiilfil the goals mentioned above, the planning will have to give an answer to the foUowing questions  [Pg.116]

The planning of a realisation phase of a project discussed in the next sections can be divided into  [Pg.116]

Note that the planning of a total project may include more phases the initiation phase, the design phase and the tender phase. [Pg.116]

Because of the close relationship to Comprehensive Heterocyclic Chemistry the Foreword, Contents and Introduction to the complete work, which appear in Volume I of the set, have been reprinted in the Handbook. The Foreword outlines the scope, significance and aim of the whole work, whereas the Introduction describes the plan of the work and the novel features it incorporates. [Pg.8]

Take active participation, through the contractor s Project Manager, in the planning of the work to insure that the engineering work will support lump sum competitive construction work. [Pg.207]

Contents and arrangement Although chemical dynamics is concerned—as the name indicates—essentially with the problem of chemical change, yet in dealing with it the result of chemical change, i.e. chemical equilibrium, occupies the most prominent place. This mode of treatment is in accordance with the plan of the work as described in the introduction for it was there pointed out that chemical dynamics should be placed first because the theory of chemical equilibrium and its connexion with thermo-dynamics afford a solider foundation for chemistry. [Pg.11]

The information on the material(s) to be analysed, the planning of the work, the exact analytical task requested and the deadline(s) to be respected should be clear. Adequate protocols should be prepared to ensure that the collected data can be compared and adequately processed. [Pg.483]

An on-site Plant shut-down project, responsible for co-ordination, planning of the works and logistics for contractors. It was itself divided into several projects ... [Pg.85]

Planning of the work interventions in order to limit the costs. [Pg.185]

The environmental impaet assessment (EIA) is now compulsory nearly everywhere. It follows offieial channels that are usually different from those of the safety evaluation and health protection. Many issues, however, of the two processes coincide and it is useful if the two analyses proceed in parallel. The EIA cormnences with the initial strategic planning of the works. During the development of the two proeesses (nuelear safety and environmental impact) information exchange should take place between the authorities responsible, for example by a mutual participation of observers in the commission meetings and in working groups. [Pg.388]

Scheme 1 presents the overall plan of the work outlined above. [Pg.297]

The planning supervisor is primarily concerned with the planning of the work not the execution of it - this is the duty of the principal contractor. The duties of the planning supervisor are as follows ... [Pg.40]

In providing safe working and ensuring accident prevention in the construction industry, great emphasis is placed on the management and planning of the work. Responsibilities are placed on all those involved, from the client to the site labourer. [Pg.793]

The principal or main contractor has control of the site and is responsible for the planning of the work and ensuring it is carried out safely. In this they must ... [Pg.794]

All these activities require (a significant amount of) time and need to be accounted for in the planning of the works. [Pg.117]

I will be focusing specifically on ways in which both existing systems can be harnessed to greater benefit and on new product developments and enhancements. For many years the contractual relationship of maintainer and owner has existed particularly within the Rail Vehicle Engineering area. That relationship has for many years been supported by a family of systems colloquially known as RAVERS which have provided the vehicle owner with maintenance history and future planning records and to a lesser degree facilitated the planning of the work of the maintainer. [Pg.76]
