Food reduces the bioavailability of pirenzepine by about 30%, but this is probably of little clinical importance. 

The AUC of a single 50-mg dose of pirenzepine was reduced by about 30% in 20 healthy subjects when pirenzepine was taken half-an-hour before food, or with food. Peak plasma levels were reduced by about 30% and 45%, respectively. The time to achieve peak levels was also reduced. In practical terms this modest change in bioavailability is probably too small to matter. The authors of this report suggest taking it with food because compliance is better if associated with a convenient daily ritual. ...
