Photoreceptor Cleaning

Cleaning. Any toner still left on the photoreceptor after the transfer process is removed with a cloth web or brush, or by a combination of electrostatic and mechanical means. [Pg.750]

Some of the interfaces meeting the photoreceptor are obvious its surface encounters ionized gas which serves to deposit or remove corona charge, the developer mass, the transfer sheet, and cleaning devices.
