Photofragment branching ratios

The properties measured in photofragmentation experiments (photodissociation or photoionization) may be divided into scalar quantities, such as photofragmentation cross sections and branching ratios, and vectorial quantities, such as angular distributions of the photofragments and their alignment or orientation.
