Photochemical deoligomerization

In a similar way, a set of disilanyl and polysilanyl complexes has recently been synthesized and exposed to photochemical deoligomerization reactions [137]. The photolytically obtained reactive silylene complexes have been identified by trapping experiments [138, 139].
