A similar behavior was observed for the photocatalytic ozonation of dyes on copper ferrite (CuFe204) nanoparticles. The mineralization occurred via aliphatic carboxylic acids that were deteded as dominant aliphatic intermediates where they were further oxidized slowly to CO2.
