Phosphoramidites special

Phosphoramidites are usually air-stable and can be handled without special precautions. The following routes have been most often applied for their synthesis ... [Pg.219]

All RNAs that contain 2AP must be chemically synthesized. The phosphoramidite form of 2AP is commercially available from Glen Research (Sterling, VA, USA) for in-house synthesis. Dharmacon (Boulder, CO, USA) and IBA (Gottingen, Germany) do chemical synthesis of RNAs with 2AP. Both suppliers offer protected and deprotected forms of the oligos if money is no object, these suppliers will purify the RNA by denaturing gel electrophoresis or HPLC. RNAs with 2AP require no special handling beyond normal RNA care. [Pg.273]

The use of special CPG-phosphoramidites with glycerol linkers has been proposed to test different 3 -modifications of an oligonucleotide of identical sequence. After solid-phase synthesis, glycerol esters are cleaved and oxidized. The resulting acid or aldehyde may be further re-... [Pg.307]

Four reviews of allylic substitution reactions have been published. The first covers the metal-mediated allylic substitution reactions in water, the second discusses the mechanisms and scope of iridium-catalysed asymmetric allylic substitution reactions, the third ° reviews the development and use of iridium salt-phosphoramidite ligand catalysts for enantioselective allylic substitution reactions, and the fourth covers the transition metal-catalysed reactions of allylic alcohols. Special attention is focussed on the ar-allyl metal intermediates and their influence on the regio-, stereo-, and enantio-selectivities of these reactions. [Pg.270]
