Pharmacies controlled substance loss

In the event an order for controlled substances is not received by the pharmacy or other registered establishment after the order has been filled by the supplier, the order is considered to have been lost in transit. Under these circmnstances, the supplier is responsible for notification of the DBA of the loss.
