For example, in the spectrum of pentyl 4-phenoxybenzyl succinate (raw formula 22 26 5 Figure 9.67), we can distinguish two isotopomer M+ ions at m/z 370 and m/z 371 the first includes only c atoms and the second includes an atom of C. The C isotopomer is not visible for ions m/z 342, m/z 300, and m/z 282 because it is not sufficiently abundant. It is not visible for ion m/z 29 since it includes only two carbon atoms the isotopic contribution of C is in this case only about 2%. [Pg.192]
