PDBFINDER database

Hooft RWW, Sander C, Scharf M, Vriend G. The PDBFINDER database a summary of PDB, DSSP and HSSP information with added value. Comput Appl Biosci 1996 12 525-529. [Pg.403]

The EMBL in Heidelberg provides a multitude of services that can be helpful for the molecular modeler. DSSP, HSSP, FSSP, PDBFINDER, PDBREPORT, and PDB SELECT are derived protein databases. They are based on data from the Protein Data Bank of 3D structures and the Swissprot database of ID protein sequences. The data and related software can be obtained via anonymous FTP or, more easily these days, via the WWW. [Pg.97]

In this study, we concentrate on structures solved by x-ray crystallography. The datasets that represent certain time periods were selected from the PDB by using the PDBFINDER [31] database. We selected protein structures from the database based on the year of publication and the resolution at which the structure was determined. [Pg.395]
