Particle size dependence mixing device

The preparation of fine particles is an important method for the production of special ceramics or catalysts. One method to produce fine particles is precipitation. The size of the formed particles is dependent on the degree of supersaturation and the rate of nucleation. The fine particles have a great tendency to form agglomerates. To prepare fine particles by coprecipitation it is important to achieve a high supersaturation at a very short time. A good mixing device is essential. [Pg.869]
