Paraquinone dioxime

Thiokol FA, a polysulfide rubber, does not plasticize on the mixing mill without a chemical plasticizer such as benzothiazyl disulfide. Thikol ST, another grade, has its molecular weight adjusted so that it is millable. Thiokol FA is vulcanized by zinc oxide and Thiokol ST by zinc oxide or a paraquinone dioxime/zinc oxide combination. [Pg.115]
