Novel benzylisoquinoline alkaloids bearing a reduced pyrrole unit at position 4 have been identified in macrostomine (20) and dehydronormacrostomine (21), obtained from Papaver macrostoma (syn. P. oligotrichum Closteranda macrostoma). Sevanine has also been found in the same plant. ...
