Palladium complexes heteroatom chelation

Alkyne insertions in the Pd-C bond often occur stepwise although in certain cases the monoinserted complexes caimot be isolated and multiple insertions occur, even when a default of alkyne is used. Chelation of the heteroatom-containing group to palladium is conserved for each of these insertions. [Pg.107]
