Other Components to Be Periodically Checked

It is also important to emphasize that other components of the ICP mass spectrometer have a finite lifetime and will need to be replaced or at least inspected from time to time. These components are not considered a part of the routine maintenance schedule and usually require a service engineer (or at least an experienced user) to clean or to change them.
