Organotin electrophilic fluorination

Electrophilic fluorination of organotin compounds has also been examined. Organotin compounds can be oxidatively converted into the corresponding halides. In mefhanol trimethyltin-substituted alkenes are converted regiospecifically into the fluoroalkenes (Scheme 2.20) [35].
