Organoantimony compounds synthesis

Since organoaluminum compounds have become industrially available by Ziegler s direct synthesis, they have appeared to offer opportunities for synthesis of organoantimony compounds for example, the preparation of tri-alkylstibines by treatment of antimony(m) oxide with trialkylaluminums has been proposed 516... 

The chemistry of organobismuth compounds has been described in several pubHcations (28—31). The use of organobismuth compounds, as well as organoantimony ones, in organic synthesis has been exhaustively reviewed (32). 

In the present review, the methods of synthesis of organoantimony and organobismuth compounds will be surveyed. Typical and recent methods have been selected from a large number of reported methods.
