On-line photoreactor

Fig. 2.37. Gradient LC separation of the retinoid solution components and retinoic acid isomers by (A) UV-DAD detection (350 nm) and (B) fluorescence detection with on-line photoreactor switched (a) off and (b) on with irradiation at 366 nm. Peak identification 1 = 13-civ retinoic acid 2 = 9-civ retinoic acid 3 = all-fraws retinoic acid 4 = vitamin A palmitate 5 = /1-carotene. Reprinted with permission from R. Gatti el al. [85]. DETERMINATION OF ARTEMISININ BY HPLC WITH ON-LINE PHOTOREACTOR AND PEROXYOXALATE CHEMILUMINESCENCE DETECTION... [Pg.245]

Imidazole-HNOs buffer (20 mmol/L, pH 7.5) containing 60 % acetonitrile was used as a mobile phase and a mixture of 0.5 mmol/L DNPO and 1.5 /tmol/L TMP in acetonitrile as a post column CL reagent. The flow rates of the mobile phase and the CL reagent were set at 0.5 and 1.0 mL/min, respectively. Artemisinin injected into the system passed through the on-line photoreactor in 2.35 min. [Pg.246]

Determination of Artemisinin by HPLC with On-line Photoreactor... [Pg.247]

Radiation model involving multi-lamp reactors is provided by Yokota and Suzuki (22). Based on a diffused line source emission model, the light absorption rate in any geometrical photoreactor with multiple lamps was assessed, and the work reveals the existence of optimum light arrangement. [Pg.472]
