Oligomeric species, equilibration

Gas-llquld chromatography has the potential to discriminate between the different oligomeric species formed. We have found that capillary GC may be used to measure the concentration of o,(i> amlnopropyl 1,3 tetramethyldlslloxane In equilibration reactions. Although the presence of catalyst could potentially lead to the generation of additional cycllcs at the elevated temperatures necessary for GC, there was no effect on the amount of dlslloxane present. Of course, to measure the D4 concentration, the samples must be free of catalyst. [Pg.151]
