Oct-OPV3-CN

As explained in Section 16.2.2.1.1, the steric requirements of an octyl substituent are more stringent than those of the octyloxy group. We succeeded in synthesizing the octyl compound with cyano groups at the outer positions on the vinylene linkages, but not the one with the cyano groups on the inner positions (oct-0PV3-CN ).
