Occurrence of Potassium Salts

Potassium salts are found in numerous deposits in many parts of the world. By far the largest are in Belarus and Canada (Saskatchewan). [Pg.205]

In Europe there are large deposits in the Federal Republic of Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Great Britain and Southern Italy. The two largest deposits in the Federal Republic of Germany are in the Werra-Fulda and Hanover regions. [Pg.206]

The available reserves (i.e. deposits which are economically workable) estimated in 1991 are given by region in Table 2.2-8 below  [Pg.206]
