The spin densities are deduced from the weights (here the squared coefficients) of the determinants for the ground and excited states. They are indicated in Fig. 8.Ans.l (bold numbers). The spin densities arising from a VBDFT calculation (Ref. 21 of Chapter 7) are depicted in italics on the same figure. The agreement between both sets of calculated values is seen to be very good.
