Norbornenyl-palladium complexes

If 6-substituted norbornenyl(hexafluoroacetylacetonato)palladium(ll) complexes 8 were treated with triphenylphosphane, triphenylarsane, triphenylstibane, pyridine, alkenes, 1,2-dienes or 1,3-dienes, an equilibrium of nortricyclic product 9 and substrate was established. Equilibrium constants were determined and in the case of 1,3-dienes as reactants, the products were found to depend on the substitution pattern of the diene used. ...
