Nomenclature and industrial production

Polysulfide oligomer nomenclature is specific for each country. Thus, in the United States polysulfide ohgomers are produced vnth names prefixed by LP (liquid polymer), in Japan they are given the prefix S, and in Germany the prefix Th or G. Table 5 lists several examples of polysulfide ohgomers produced in the United States, Japan, and Germany [2]. 

The polysulfide ohgomers ZL-560 and ZL-616 are also produced in United States. The chemical structure of these ohgomers is given in the following formulas ZL-560 has the structure
