Neroliodyl acetate also finds use in perfumery owing to its tenacious sweet woody and refreshing odor. Nerolidol is also used as a precursor for farnesol and for vitamins E (P-tocopherol) [148-03-8] (289) and Kj [84-80-0] (290) as shown in Fig. 8.55.
