Nanocomposite metallopolymers

Thermolysis is widely used in the synthesis of nano-sized metallopolymer composites. This is a result of the specifics of the preparation of such materials. In spite of a variety of the methods for the preparation of metallopolymer nanocomposites, there are two principal routes bottom-up and top-down. ... [Pg.75]

THE COMPUTER MODELING OF ASSEMBLING OF METALLOPOLYMER NANOCOMPOSITES DURING CONTROLLED THERMOLYSIS... [Pg.111]

The metallopolymers considered above are used relatively often (see, for example, [59]). New types of nanocomposites, with an architecture arising from the unusual structure of highly branched polymers, have been intensively investigated. Their place in a macromolecular system is shown in Fig. 8-11. [Pg.347]

This chapter has analyzed the principal methods, structural organization and architecture of a wide range of metallopolymers obtained by incorporation of metal particles into polymers, as well as promising new ones. The multiplicity of architectural structures in such self-organized systems is a reflection of the infinite variety of natural objects coupled with the synthetic possibilities of chemistry. Even the term supramolecular architecture has appeared [104]. Almost all architectural forms (including those obtained by sol-gel methods in thin-layered films) are used in nature for generation of metal particles in biopolymers and their analogues. Primarily, this relates to supramolecular polyfunctional systems such as enzymes, liposomes and cells. The processes of nanocomposite preparation are very similar to biomineralization, biosorption etc. [Pg.353]

In this chapter, procedures for the preparation of metallopolymer nanocomposites of different types, especially hybrid organic-inorganic ones, are considered from a unified viewpoint and ffie generality of the processes of their formation in living and nonliving natural objects is demonstrated. This review smweys fresh results and those generally published wiffiin the last decade. [Pg.91]

As the synthesis of metallopolymer complexes precedes the formation of metallopolymer nanocomposites, let us consider briefly these problems. [Pg.108]
