Myrtiflorae

Tricolporopollenites in the Santonian/Campanian of British Columbia (102)]. Examples in the Malviflorae have been found in sediments from the mid- to upper-Cretaceous period as evidenced by Ulmipollenites (Ulmaceae, Malviflorae) from California (103). Other mid- to upper-Cretaceous fossils are of the Myrtiflorae and Rutiflorae, as exemplified by the Myrtaceidites (Myrtaceae) from Antarctica (104) and Cupanieidites (Sapindaceae) from Wyoming, respectively (105). [Pg.230]
