Mosaic spread rocking curves

Indeed, the lattice mismatches noted 5 and S can be calculated from the following relations S = (2 sto. - L)/(2flsxo) and S = ( sto V2 - i)/( STO /2) [79,95]. For the entire family, low values calculated for 5 and S explain the excellent compatibility between the film/substrate crystal lattices. Nevertheless, more the ionic radius of Ln decreases, more the lattice mismatches increases. This induces an increase of the full width at half maximum (FWHM) in the rocking curves (thus a mosaic spread more significant from La to Nd), as observed on Figure 11.5b. The epitaxial relationship was described in our prior work [97] and are [110]sxo/ 010]LnTo [001]sxo//[100]LnTo (H0)sTo//(001)LnTO-... [Pg.242]
