Morpholineethanesulfonic acid

Aqueous solutions of phytic acid were prepared from the dodecasodium salt (Aldrich) with a molecular weight of 1095 28. The pH of the phytic acid solutions was adjusted with HCIO4 or HNO3. The buffers 4-morpholineethanesulfonic acid and 4-(2-hydroxyethane)-l-piperizineethanesulfonic acid were recrystallized from aqueous ethanol before use. TRIZMA buffer was used without further purification. For the purposes of these experiments, the buffers were considered non-complexing. [Pg.275]

Sample preparation Add a stabilizing solution of 4-morpholineethanesulfonic acid birffer ethylene glycol 1 1, prepare ultrafiltrate using an Amicon Centiifree micropartition system in a centrifuge, ii ject an aliquot. [Pg.770]
