Monorail

M-Onorail scales are constmcted by removing a section of monorail track and replacing it with a similar section that is mounted on a scale. Loads transported by crane or on roUer hangers can be weighed quickly and easily. Capacities range up to 5 t. 

Equipment-handling faciUties include any device used to convey or temporarily support equipment, or provide access for plant maintenance, eg, portable ladders, davits, A-frames, monorails, forklift vehicles, and cranes. 

Tray dryers may be of the tray-truck or the stationary-tray type. In the former, the trays are loaded on trucks which are pushed into the dryer in the latter, the trays are loaded directly into stationary racks within the dryer. Trucks may be fitted with flanged wheels to run on tracks or with flat swivel wheels. They may also be suspended from and moved on monorails. Trucks usually contain two tiers of trays, with IS to 48 trays per tier, depending upon the tray dimensions.

In 2005 it became grindingly obvious that there was a certain spot on Seattle s monorail where tram cars trying to simply pass each other by had to stop to take samples of exterior paint from each other. That was traced back to an engineering error they had made back in 1988, when the rails were brought in a little too close Somebody get me a ruler please ...

Since the first steps in transluminal balloon dilation of mitral valves in 1982 (24) numerous techniques have been described. One method is to access the left atrium with a transseptal puncture from the venous side (antegrade). Another way is to advance the catheter via the aorta into the left ventricle and perform the valvulotomy from the arterial side (retrograde). The use of two dilation balloons introduced via the transseptal approach is a common technique described by Bonhoeffer using a monorail-type system over a single guidewire (25). 

There was no Eastern Distributor, no car artery wounding the village of Darlinghurst, there was parkland in its place beyond. There was no Monorail, no Darling Harbour, no Harbour Tunnel. There was no Ml Freeway.
