Molecular Orbitals and Covalent Bonding

We shall now see how covalent bonds are constructed from the overlap of atomic orbitals. 

The bond in the hydrogen molecule is formed by the overlap of Is atomic orbitals 

Let us begin by looking at the simplest case the bond between the two hydrogen atoms in H2. In a Lewis structure of the hydrogen molecule, we would write the bond as an electron pair shared by both atoms, giving each a helium configuration. How do we construct H2 by
